Technical assistance for the project to extend Écija’s drinking water treatment plant

This project involves providing technical assistance for the project to enlarge the drinking water treatment facilities in Écija (Seville province). It aims to provide a solution to the limited capacity (in terms of quality and quantity) of the current facilities to supply drinking quality.

As far as quantity goes, the drinking water output flow is expected to reach 1.2 m3/s, i.e. a 50% increase. In terms of quality, the main feature of the project is the installation of an additional treatment line featuring ionisation and activated charcoal filtration. The project also involves the addition of a sludge treatment line. All the teams are using the BIM methodology by way of a number of applications, including Revit and Plant 3D.
