Solutions for the public and private sectors
Our projects for the tertiary sector cover everything from administrative buildings belonging to the government and private sector to shopping centres. As such, these kinds of buildings must meet a series of varied and complex needs. Here, attention to detail is key in order to be able to offer comprehensive solutions for even the smallest of requirements.
Ayesa is particularly well known for its projects involving court buildings, having designed two of Spain’s most important combined court centres of the past decade. The first of these is Cordoba Combined Court Centre in 2017. This project, which saw Ayesa work alongside the architecture firm Mecanoo, required a deep understanding of the building’s urban environment, both in spatial and historical terms. The building is compact in nature and is pierced with courtyards around its edges, which get their inspiration from the city’s architecture when it was an Islamic caliphate. It also has a square next to it which appears to seamlessly merge with the neighbouring Jardín Huerta del Sordillo park. The second is Alicante Combined Court Centre, which is currently in its last phase of development.
