Challenge
To host events with capacities of up to 2,000 people and provide more space for basketball activities and events, Real Madrid Sports Club required an expansion of their sports city. This expansion was a crucial milestone in the club’s development and growth.
Our work
Ayesa led and supervised the construction of this new state-of-the-art sports facility for football, which included two natural grass pitches, a covered sports pavilion, and the adaptation of the urban development surrounding the project. Additionally, the design included a floor where the basketball club’s offices and the technical team’s offices are located.
Added value
Ayesa brought innovation and sustainability to this unique project by incorporating new materials that are sustainable, durable, and safe and contribute to the circular economy. For instance, a self-cleaning TX Active ultra-white cement was used in the GRC Stud Frame facade, while the Junckers UNO-BAT 62 solid wood sports flooring was chosen for its performance and safety. The paneling in the new facility was completed with microdot, deco metal, and high-gloss Formica, a fully recyclable and reusable material, and new facilities such as a cryotherapy pool and physiotherapy rooms were added to complete this flagship sports complex.
