Hospitals, specialist healthcare facilities and laboratories
At Ayesa, we have extensive experience in healthcare architecture projects of all sizes. As far as large-scale projects are concerned, we have been involved with hospitals around the world, including the Paediatric and Maternity Hospital (Hospital del Niño y la Maternidad) in Panama, which spans more than 130,000 m2. The building, which features façades made of slats and a slender design, stands out on the skyline of Panama City. We have also participated in projects involving R&D facilities, such as the laboratory at Emasesa’s El Carambolo drinking water treatment plant. In such cases, biosafety is always at the heart of our approach. In Andalusia, we have participated in medium-sized projects involving specialist hospitals, which have been particularly innovative from a local and urban perspective.
