A new platform, based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, has allowed the construction group to modernise its business processes, improve its services and ultimately become more competitive.

Ayesa, a global provider of technology and engineering services, has recently implemented an advanced technology platform at Calaf Grup as part of its digital transformation process. Based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, the solution has allowed the group to speed up the modernisation of its businesses processes, improve the services it offers and ultimately become more competitive.

One of the key priorities of the Catalan-based construction firm is to remain at the forefront of its industry. This is what led is to embark upon a journey of digital transformation involving the migration of its systems to the cloud, whilst ensuring these can be scaled up as it expands internationally and increasing its level of cybersecurity.

The new platform has allowed for the advanced automation of a number of the group’s processes, including end-to-end monitoring of its projects. As a result, staff now have more time to focus on aspects relating to strategy and added value.

The introduction of a single, modern platform means employees have access to up-to-date data in real time. This has led to an improvement in decision-making processes as well as more efficient operations. In particular, the group is now able to prepare its year-end accounts much quicker thanks to accurate information and optimised consolidation processes.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance is currently used by the entire group, while Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain has been introduced at its services and industrial firms. This means that the finances and operations of all companies belonging to the group can now be managed effectively and efficiently.
