Streamlining Talent Acquisition and Verification with RPA (Robotic Process Automation)

In some public-sector selection processes, candidates are required to provide proof of their experience, training, and academic qualifications. A selection panel reviews these documents, assigns points, and uses this evaluation to rank candidates or allocate positions.

The Regional Government of Andalusia, one of Spain’s most complex administrative bodies, adheres to this detailed selection procedure. To improve the verification of certificates and documents submitted by candidates, they have recently adopted an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology provided by Ayesa.

Once the selection panel has completed its review, Ayesa’s system thoroughly checks thousands of data points to verify the authenticity of certificates and other documents submitted by candidates, ensuring quality and fairness in the process.

The RPA solution automates the verification of various documents, including degree certificates and training completions, and assigns scores to them. This automation delivers precise, high-quality information to the selection panel, greatly reducing both time and costs.

In addition to academic qualifications and training certificates, the system also verifies documents such as journal publications by referencing indexed databases, including their impact factors.

Since the project’s launch in July 2022, approximately 14,000 merits have been verified.

This technology not only simplifies the migration and classification of data from obsolete systems but also handles extensive document repositories, emails, forms, and unstructured data such as images and videos.
