Construction 4.0: the name of the game
Building information modelling (BIM) has become one of the main expressions of the digital transformation of the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) sector. This is due not only to the benefits it offers in terms of collaboration, design quality and information control but also the added value it brings to projects and construction. What’s more, it allows innovative technology to be used, including drones, laser scanning, virtual and augmented reality, 3D printing and even data analytics.
At Ayesa, we have used BIM for more than ten years. This has allowed us to improve the processes that govern our work and enhance the quality of our services. What's more, we are ISO 19650 certified, a reflection of the degree of maturity we have achieved through the numerous major international projects we have been involved in. This expertise allows us to advise and assist our clients during the implementation of BIM at their organisation or company. The know-how we have developed through years of experience means we are able to confidently take on any project. Furthermore, we are passionate about constantly improving the way we do things and developing innovative solutions for our clients.
As partners of buildingSMART, we are committed to openBIM, although that’s not to say we don’t use commercial software or develop our own tools to automate processes and ensure the quality of our work. One such tool is based on a virtual design supervision concept, which, using BIM models and virtual reality scenarios, allows clients to easily see how their designs are progressing. Our team features highly qualified experts, who, apart from their work at Ayesa, teach on master’s degrees in BIM, and regularly share their knowledge on the subject through various means, such as specialist events and publications, spurred on by the belief that this exciting journey has only just begun.
