Taking the refinery industry into the future
In order to ensure the target of reducing emissions to net zero by 2050 is achieved, it is essential the refinery industry makes the most of the latest technology and transitions to low-carbon fuels. This means having cutting-edge equipment which is more efficient, safer and more sustainable.
At Ayesa, our aim is to transform petrochemical plants into multi-energy hubs by providing them with the infrastructure they need to produce fuels with a low or non-existant carbon footprint. This is part of our commitment to actively drive new business models based on the circular economy.
Through our projects in this area, we respond to calls from society for the use of more sustainable energy and renewable products, doing this by offering technology which reduces emissions as well as developing cleaner energy products. A prime example of this is the use of renewable hydrogen as a substitute for hydrogen produced using fossil fuels, currently used at refineries.
