Comprehensive Services: Ayesa provides end-to-end advisory and engineering services for developing water transmission and wastewater conveyance systems. Our expertise spans all phases, from planning and design to construction management. We offer specialized services in geotechnical investigations, ground improvement, and tunneling design—including TBM, SEM, and micro-tunneling techniques. Our capabilities extend to handling challenging tunneling conditions, such as gassy or contaminated ground, constricted urban spaces (trenchless tunnelling) and implementing seismic engineering to ensure resilience during natural disasters. We excel in designing and constructing all aspects of water conveyance systems, including flow control facilities, pumping stations, canals, reservoirs, and pipeline routes. We ensure the efficient transfer of water and wastewater from marine intakes to treatment plants and storage facilities, and manage the delivery of treated water for agricultural use, as well as its discharge into marine and river outfalls.
Meeting Diverse Challenges: A significant portion of the world’s drinking water is lost to leaks before it reaches our taps. Water transportation must overcome diverse challenges, including navigating mountains, harsh maritime environments, and congested urban areas to move water and wastewater between collection and delivery points. To address this issue, utilities are investing in more efficient networks and distribution systems with leak detection and prevention systems. Ayesa supports water utilities and public sectors in enhancing water and wastewater services to meet the demands of rapid population growth and urban concentration. We focus on delivering cleaner waterways and reliable water supplies, driving community prosperity and advancement.
Innovation: Ayesa’s design team harnesses advanced technologies like water system modeling and digital twins to remotely monitor and optimize operations. Utilizing virtual reality for detailed schematics allows us to proactively address potential issues before construction begins, reducing the risk of delays, additional costs, or damage to adjacent structures.
Notable Projects; Ayesa has played a significant role in various major projects, including upgrading the sewer network in Ireland’s capital city Dublin, in an €88 million scheme. Other projects include the Hydroelectric Intake Power Station of the Navarra Canal, where Ayesa provided environmental monitoring and managed health and safety during the build phase along the 177 kilometres of canal.
