Ayesa supports Fundación ONCE Baja Visión in the digital inclusion of up to 400,000 people

The company implements a Salesforce CRM platform to enable autonomous and user-friendly access to information.

Ayesa, a global provider of technology and engineering services, continues to strengthen its position in the field of technological solutions for social inclusion. Its latest initiative involves the implementation of a new CRM platform based on Salesforce technology, awarded by Fundación ONCE Baja Visión (FOBV). The goal is to create a digital platform that serves as a hub for the Foundation’s employees and its future beneficiaries.

Fundación ONCE Baja Visión (FOBV) was established to support and recognize individuals with low vision who are not eligible to become ONCE members but who nevertheless face significant daily challenges, often leading to social exclusion. The foundation aims to become a leading organization in the care, inclusion, and quality-of-life improvement of up to 400,000 individuals by facilitating access to services, activities, and support.

To fulfill this mission effectively, FOBV requires a centralized digital platform capable of managing beneficiaries and their needs, coordinating partner organizations (such as associations and research centers), and streamlining the work of its employees. The technology must act as a bridge to enhance accessibility, simplify processes, and ensure that no beneficiary is left without support.

Under the awarded contract, Ayesa will implement a Salesforce-based CRM system, as well as develop digital portals tailored to different user profiles. Key features include the digitization and centralization of user data, the creation of a beneficiary portal offering personalized services, and a partner portal for associations and research centers. All workflows—such as notifications, approvals, and application tracking—will be automated, with interfaces designed to be intuitive and accessible for individuals with visual impairments.

The “Salesforce CRM and FOBV Portals” project is centered on deploying Salesforce as the CRM platform, leveraging capabilities such as Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud for user management and Salesforce Experience Cloud for the development of personalized portals.

The system has been integrated with existing ONCE platforms to ensure consistency and efficiency, along with third-party tools for fiscal identity verification.

Significant impact

This project will benefit up to 400,000 people with low vision in Spain by providing them with a digital environment that is both accessible and tailored to their needs, ensuring their full participation in society. Key benefits include increased digital and social inclusion, autonomous and simple access to information and services, streamlined processes for both beneficiaries and partner entities, and noticeable improvements in coordination and communication between FOBV and its collaborators.

According to Jesús Aparicio, Project Lead, “This contract represents a major opportunity for Ayesa to collaborate with FOBV and ONCE, and reinforces our expertise in CRM implementations for foundations—paving the way for future social innovation projects.”
