Challenge

The project includes two buildings for Data Processing Centres, each DC consisting of a service building and a module with two IT rooms on the same floor (approx. 1,400 m²) and an electrical room.

Our work

Functional requirements:

  • Connections between the modules and service buildings.
  • Accessibility to IT, power supply and cooling equipment.
  • Specific study of the cooling of the IT rooms using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis comprising a modelling of the morphology of the room and progressive calculations.
  • Each building will contemplate the future extension of a module with two IT
    rooms of the same surface area, in addition to an electrical room.
  • TIER III certification by the Uptime Institute, without prejudice to the fact that the design incorporates TIER IV functionalities.
