Challenge
Canal de Isabel II is a government-owned enterprise responsible for overseeing the water management cycle across most of the Madrid region. In the years ahead, a primary objective is to achieve energy self-sufficiency by harnessing clean, renewable electricity by establishing new solar parks and producing green hydrogen through reclaimed water. However, to realise these goals, it is necessary to implement new IT systems.
Solution
Canal Isabel II has selected Ayesa to support its digital transformation and energy efficiency plans. Ayesa will provide maintenance services for the SAP applications used by Canal Isabel II, including financial management, human resources, budgeting, analytics, and more. They will also implement new SAP modules and solutions. Over 30 experts from Ibermática’s SAP Expertise Centre will dedicate over 160,000 hours to the project. Additionally, the contract includes services for Canal Gestión Lanzarote, a subsidiary of Canal de Isabel II.
