Ayesa partners up with technology firm Spread to expand its presence in Brazil

The agreement will see the two companies join forces to win contracts in utilities, industry, telecommunications and banking.

Ayesa, a global provider of technology and engineering services, has reached an agreement with the Brazilian company Spread. The partnership is expected to put the companies in a strong position to secure major contracts in utilities, industry, telecommunications and banking, and therefore expand their operations in Brazil.

Spread is a Brazilian provider of IT services and solutions, with more than 40 years of experience. It has also carried out over 30 thousand hours of work for companies across a range of industries. Its areas of expertise include IT outsourcing and cloud computing, services Ayesa has recently began offering in Brazil; app development; and SAP projects, of which it has undertaken more than 500 for 150 different clients.

The company, which has more than 2000 members of staff, offers a Talent On Demand service. The contract will see the area’s more than 1000 experts work with Ayesa’s team in Brazil to ‘effectively respond to the needs and strategies of local clients’.

Antonio Carlos Barbosa Caldas, Ayesa’s Sales Director in Brazil, explains: ‘Spread will allow us to expand into sectors where we’re not currently present in Brazil. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to gain more knowledge on the country’.

He adds: ‘the contract will also give us access to many opportunities as part of consortia. Ultimately, the aim of this partnership is to expand our presence in Brazil by drawing on Spread’s expertise and experience in some of the country’s sectors where we are not currently present, including industry, telecommunications and finance. In terms of utilities, we already have eight years of experience in Brazil, although with Spread we expect to significantly increase our presence. This latest agreement is a reflection of our successful growth strategy in Brazil, and comes on the back of various collaboration agreements with leading local companies’.
