Challenge

Interxion's MAD4 data center in Madrid marks a major milestone in Digital Realty's expansion across Southern Europe. Located in the San Blas- Canillejas district, MAD4 is being developed in three phases, ultimately delivering 35,000 m² of cutting-edge colocation space and up to 34 MW of IT power.

The facility is designed to meet high environmental standards, powered by 100% renewable energy and targeting LEED Gold certification.

Fully integrated into Interxion’s Madrid campus via a high-capacity fiber ring, MAD4 enhances regional connectivity. It is strategically positioned to serve the growing digital demands of hyperscalers, cloud providers, and large enterprise clients.

Our work

Ayesa has been instrumental in the MAD4 project, providing their expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) management through the construction of Phases I, and III, that has been pivotal in developing the As-Built model for the facility's diesel installations, ensuring efficient cooling systems and operational reliability in case of power failures.
