Ayesa has awarded the supervision and contract management of construction of the Morawica and Wola Morawicka ring roads - along national road No. 73 section I (Kielce - Brzeziny / Morawica) - in the design and build system.
The section of national road No. 73, which is particularly busy with traffic, runs through Morawica and Wola Morawicka near Podieleckie. Heavy transit traffic overlaps heavy local traffic on this section of the route connecting Kielce North, Busko and Tarnów interchange, which means that traffic in Morawica alone exceeds 19 thousand vehicles a day. Therefore, the investment included in the National Road Construction Program will significantly improve traffic flow, safety and driving comfort.
As part of the first stage of the long-awaited investment, a 4.2 km long GP road (main road with accelerated traffic) will be built, following the trail of the existing national route No. 73 of the section from the borders of the city of Kielce to the border of Brzeziny and Morawica. It includes four intersections with traffic lights a pedestrian bridge in Bilcza and access roads. The road-related infrastructure will also be rebuilt.
Ultimately, the Morawica bypass will be 8 km long. In the second stage of the investment, a section running along the new trail will be built, bypassing Morawica and Wola Morawicka.
The investment implementation period is 36 months plus winter periods starting from the signing of the contract. The investment will be implemented in the design and build system, which means that the contractor will make the necessary design updates before starting the works.
