Yatí-Bodega Roadway Interconnection

The contract includes land management, permit applications and the construction of the works. The Yatí - Bodega road interconnection is a 12-kilometre long toll road that crosses the Magdalena River and will be one of the main works undertaken by the Colombian Government in the Caribbean region. It is a set of works that includes the construction of the Roncador bridge, the longest in the country, with 2.3 kilometres in length, the Isla Grande highway, 2.7 kilometres, the Santa Lucía bridge, measuring one kilometre. The route that will connect the Roncador Bridge with the township of Bodega running for 2.9 kilometres and the improvement of the current roadway between Yatí and Santa Lucía, measuring 3 kilometres.

 

This infrastructure will connect the Troncal de Occidente with the Ruta del Sol, a project that will also connect the Mompóx Island (World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995) with Magangué and the La Mojana region, an area that has historically always been disconnected from the national road network.

The construction of the work has been awarded to the Colombian Consortium composed of Mincivil, HB Estructuras Metálicas, Latinco and Concrearmado.
