Technical support for the operational control and maintenance of Line 1 of Seville's metro system

Line 1 of Seville's metro is the first of the four lines which make up the metro system serving Seville and its metropolitan area.

The contract covers 3 different areas, namely the operating of the line, maintenance of fixed installations and mobile material, in addition to the analysis of demand and passenger traffic.

Line 1 has a double track spanning 19 km in length, the majority of which is underground (60% of its total length), is electrified at 750 V and has signalling based on electronic interlocking with ATP DTG and ATO.

This metro system has the characteristics of a light rail. Its route, which spans 18 km in length, runs mainly underground (around 60% in total), with certain sections above ground. It has both exclusive and separate platforms and includes various connection structures.

This line begins its journey in the municipality of Mairena del Aljarafe and subsequently crosses Seville, finishing in Dos Hermanas.

The following modern integral systems used on the line stand out: ATP/ATO, ATR, TETRA, SIV, station control, platform doors, telephony, electrification and fibre-optic Ethernet.
