Alquife Mines

The Alquife Mines, located in Granada, have historically been the main producer of iron ore in Spain, until their closure in 1996. In the second decade of this century the procedures for its reopening began with the expectation of being able of a production capacity rising to 4 million tons per year.

Within this process, Ayesa participated in the pre-feasibility study of the deposit under the provisions of the Canadian standard NI43-101.
