This project involved implementing the integrated system for government resource planning (GRP) for the public sector in Panama.
SAP GRP was implemented with the vertical Public Management (EA-PS) solution for the Panamanian Government.
The platform was developed between 2015 and 2018. The first phase involved the Government and its 25 ministries, whilst the second phase dealt with the 50 decentralised bodies.
Based on SAP technology, the project dealt with the following areas:
- Economic-financial area: finances and basic treasury management.
- Procurement and storage area: procurement and inventories.
- Public management solution: budget formulation and control.
Ayesa provided all the IT technology, equipment and services necessary for setting up and launching the system.
