Bahía Sur Train Station in San Fernando

This project involved San Fernando’s central station, which is on the Seville – Cadiz line, on the section which runs from Jerez Airport to Cadiz.

It is an overhead station measuring 1,130 m², the reason for this being the limited ground space available. The building itself has become an iconic feature in the area.

The indoor part of the station is located above the tracks, which are at road level, and is accessed via a walkway. The structure, with its wavy metal roof, is truly unique.
