Project to replace the video scoreboards at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

The aim of this project was to install new video scoreboards on the top of the north and south ends of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, as well as on the overhangs of the first amphitheatre on the east and west sides.

Unique features:

  • New Daktronics DVX-1103 LED curved screens with a 13 mm pixel pitch, measuring 30 m long and 5 m high at the north and south ends, and 15 m long and 1 m wide on the east and west sides.
  • Checking the roof structure to ensure its suitability for the new loads (10.7 Tn).
  • Improvement of the existing electrical and data (fibre optic) supply cables, as well as the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
  • New control room equipment for the video scoreboards.
