Places of culture for society
We have been involved in all kinds of projects involving cultural spaces, including the the restoration of historic buildings such as the Kursaal Theatre in Melilla, the National Theatre of Panama and the Reina Torres de Arauz Museum in Panama. As far as projects involving large venues for events go, the Amador Convention Centre in Panama and the new facilities for the Madrid Trade Fair Institution (IFEMA), currently under way, both stand out.
What’s more, we have recently completed work on the former Cruzcampo brewery to turn it into a microbrewery, restaurant and corporate head office. This involved emptying an old grain silo and replacing the main façade with a curtain wall, adapted to the shape of the building. Our approach here allowed its enormous architectural value to be highlighted and put on show for residents of the city to enjoy.
