The project of the Operational and Administrative Management System for Panamá Metropolitan Railway consisted in the implementation of an ERP based on SAP technology that covers the following areas of application:
- Financial economics: finance, analytical accounting, basic treasury, fixed assets and budgetary control
- Procurement and Warehouse management: purchases and inventory
- Maintenance Management: Plant maintenance
- Human Resources: management of the organisation, personnel management, time management and payroll-workforce calculation
Along with this, Ayesa was also awarded the support, maintenance and implementation of improvements to the SAP ERP system.
Thus, since December 2015, support for the solution has been implemented incorporating improvements to the implemented functionalities.
Regarding the tasks and / or activities developed, this includes the implementation of the project under the ASAP methodology in its five phases of implementation: initial preparation, business bluePrint or entrepreneurial design, drafting, final preparation and live output and support.
