Ayesa Air Control (AAC) has completed the process to migrate all its design and 3D licenses from CATIA V5 and Enovia to 3DEXPERIENCE by Dassault Systèmes.
With this change, the company has moved to a collaborative design environment, the aim being to boost its growth in terms of design engineering and certification (AAC holds a Design Organisation Approval (DOA) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)). This area is showing impressive growth this year thanks to new clients and projects.
As well as offering all the advantages of a collaborative and cloud-based design environment, the choice of Dassault Systèmes is particularly relevant as it is the platform its main client, Airbus, has chosen for its own design and manufacturing environments.
As such, AAC is getting ready for an environment in which the manufacturer and engineering service suppliers will work in a fully integrated manner using the same platform.
The use of 3DEXPERIENCE by Ayesa Air Control is in line with the agreement that Airbus and Dassault Systèmes announced at the beginning of the year for the implementation of its 3D design, engineering, manufacturing, simulation and artificial intelligence applications in all its divisions and areas of business in order to digitalise its procedures.
AAC has been helped in this migration process by ABGAM, Dassault Systèmes’ partner in Spain and part of the Segula Technologies Group. ABGAM and AAC have been working together on Airbus projects since 2013.
