Ayesa, the Spanish multinational specialising in engineering, technology and consultancy, has attained CMMI level 5, meaning it has been granted the highest category for its software factory service.
This certification from the US-based body CMMI Institute is the most renowned on an international level for software development and computer programme companies. Only a reduced number of certified firms worldwide have attained this level, whilst in Spain, the figure stands at just a dozen.
CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration) represents the hallmark of quality and experience that vouch for Ayesa’s projects with regard to implementation, processes, reliability and security. Furthermore, it implies the ongoing improvement of the development process and the optimisation of the company’s aims.
Ayesa develops software for multiple sectors and undertakes its professional endeavours in several European and Latin American countries. The certification is issued for all software factory activity for a period of three years and will allow for the company to access the most demanding international tenders.
