Ayesa celebrates its 50th anniversary with a conference on technology services in the twenty-first century

On 13 June, Ayesa celebrated its 50th anniversary with the organization, along with the newspaper Expansión, of a conference on 'Research, development and innovation, technology services of the 21st century'.

The event, held at the Ayesa headquarters in Seville, was attended by the President of the Government of Andalusia, Susana Diaz, in charge of the grand opening. She was joined by numerous personalities who attended, such as the Regional Minister of Finance and Public Administration, María Jesús Montero, general secretary of Innovation, Industry and Energy of the Government of Andalusia, María José Asensio Coto, the Comptroller General of the Government of Andalusia, Vicente Cecilio Guerrero Fernández, secretary General of Research, Development and Innovation at the Regional Ministry of Health, Ramón González Carvajal or the Director General of IDEA, Antonio González Martín, as well as representatives from the Andalusian business and academic world.

On such an important date for Ayesa, there were some renowned experts present at the roundtable that took place later, with the participation of Rosa García, President of Siemens, Francisco Román, President of Vodafone, Luis Miguel Gilpérez, President of Telefónica Spain, Pedro Montoya, Secretary General of Airbus Group Spain, Enrique Polo Lara, Spain Country Leader & Regional Vice President of Salesforce.com and Javier Uriarte, Marketing CEO at Endesa.

During their speeches, the guests contributed their views on the transformation of the company in the new digital era, technological services to society, the global knowledge economy, Smart infrastructure, the internet of things and the challenge of education 3.0.

La jornada, que tuvo lugar en la sede central de Ayesa en Sevilla, contó con la presencia de la Presidenta de la Junta de Andalucía, Susana Díaz Pacheco, encargada de la apertura de honor. Junto a ella asistieron numerosas personalidades como la Consejera de Hacienda y Administración Pública, María Jesús Montero, la secretaria general de Innovación, Industria y Energía de la Junta de Andalucía, María José Asensio Coto, el interventor general de la Junta de Andalucía, Vicente Fernández Guerrero, el secretario general de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación en la Consejería de Salud, Ramón González Carvajal o el director general de IDEA, Antonio González Martín, así como representantes del tejido empresarial andaluz, del mundo académico y empresarial.
