Ayesa Ingeniería advances in the Polish energy market with the supervision of a new photovoltaic plant
The solar park has 56,000 solar panels that will be able to generate up to 37 GWh of clean electricity per year for homes and businesses.
With an investment of €17.5 million, the project will support Poland’s transition to a more sustainable economy.
Ayesa, a global provider of technology and engineering services, continues to strengthen its position in the renewable energy sector in Poland. Polenergia, one of the country’s leading energy groups, has selected it to supervise and coordinate the construction of the 35 MW Rajkowy photovoltaic plant, a strategic and sustainable project worth €17.5 million.
This initiative is part of the Polish government’s strategy to diversify the national energy mix and reduce its dependence on fossil fuels. The new infrastructure, located in the Pomerania Voivodeship, covers an area of approximately 46 hectares and has 56,000 state-of-the-art solar panels, capable of generating around 37 GWh of clean electricity per year. This production is equivalent to the electricity consumption of thousands of homes and businesses, will reduce CO₂ emissions by thousands of tonnes and will have a direct positive impact on the region’s energy security. Electricity production is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Ayesa is playing a key role in this project, and its responsibilities will include technical supervision, coordination of the works and monitoring compliance with the design documentation, as well as quality, schedule and budget control. The company will also be responsible for ensuring smooth communication between Polenergia and the various contractors, guaranteeing that the project is executed in accordance with the highest international standards.
The Rajkowy plant will incorporate advanced technical infrastructure, such as transformer stations, medium-voltage underground cabling and a 110 kV connection line integrated into the national grid via the Energa Operator substation. It will also feature a comprehensive digital performance monitoring and control system, ensuring efficient and reliable operation throughout its lifetime.
This large-scale facility will also have a stimulating effect on the local economy, creating 150 jobs during the construction phase and subsequent operation of the facility, generating development opportunities in the Pomerania Voivodeship.
A trusted strategic partner
The awarding of this contract to Ayesa reflects Polenergia’s confidence in the company, following their previous successful collaboration on the Szprotawa photovoltaic park (67 MW). The continuation of this relationship reinforces Ayesa’s position as a strategic partner in the Polish market and consolidates its experience in the design, supervision and execution of complex renewable energy projects.
“This new project represents an important step in Ayesa’s consolidation in the European energy sector. We are proud to contribute to Poland’s ecological transition with innovative and sustainable solutions that not only generate clean energy, but also bring added value to local communities”, said Artur Majczak, Ayesa’s country manager in Poland.
The company is a leader in the development of sustainable infrastructure and technological solutions applied to the energy sector. Its supervision of projects such as Rajkowy reflects its commitment to decarbonisation, the modernisation of electricity grids and the integration of clean energy into European energy systems.
