Ayesa drives business transformation at Forces Elèctriques d’Andorra with SAP S/4HANA

The project will involve optimising the user experience with a simplified data model and customised multi-device apps.

Ayesa, a global provider of technology and engineering services, has reached an agreement with Forces Elèctriques d’Andorra (FEDA) to help it digitally transform over the coming years. This will involve changing the management system used by the company and its subsidiaries to SAP S/4HANA, as well as providing maintenance services for the solution.

FEDA, which is fully owned by the Principality of Andorra, is the country’s electricity system operator. Its work includes importing and producing electricity, in addition to managing the country’s transmission and distribution network. Through its subsidiaries, it also offers energy transition services, such as efficient heating and air-conditioning systems, sustainable transport solutions, infrastructure to allow consumers to produce their own renewable energy, and waste management.

As part of its efforts to provide its customers with the very best service, the company’s goal is to implement a simplified data model and enhance its user experience, placing transport at the heart of its strategy. Based on these requirements, Ayesa will move FEDA’s management system from SAP ECC to S/4HANA through a greenfield project. This will allow it to reengineer and simplify the company’s processes, thereby reducing its time to value (TTV) and paving the way for the introduction of innovative technology, such as IoT, machine learning, SAP Business Network and SAP Business Technology Platform.

SAP S/4HANA will allow FEDA to implement new business models and offer its customers an enhanced experience, whilst complying with regulatory requirements and maintaining control of its assets and investments. The SAM module will also make field work carried out by staff more efficient, and SAP Fiori will be used to manage indicators and generate user-friendly reports.
