Ayesa Digital certifies the quality of its services with the renewal of its CMMI maturity levels

Achieves the highest level for its Application Management Services (AMS) and software factories.

Ayesa Digital has renewed and consolidated its CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) maturity levels, reaffirming the robustness of its IT services management and development model. CMMI is a framework of best practices designed to help organizations improve their processes—particularly in software and systems development—by measuring their maturity across key areas in order to achieve business objectives such as quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The most significant milestone has been the renewal of CMMI for Development Level 5, the highest maturity level recognized internationally, for its Application Management Services (AMS) and Software Factories. These assessments were conducted through an independent Benchmark Appraisal.

In the most recent evaluation process, carried out in December, it was confirmed that all assessed practices fully comply with the model’s requirements, with no weaknesses identified. This outcome reflects a high degree of process institutionalization, as well as solid, consistent, and sustained performance management over time. The scope of this latest evaluation includes the AMS services provided to Kutxabank and ONCE, demonstrating the applicability and robustness of Ayesa’s model in real, complex, and highly demanding environments.

Among the key strengths highlighted by the appraisal team are:

  • A mature quantitative management approach, with systematic use of performance baselines and periodic management reviews. As evidence of this capability, both services complete work orders with an average effort between 1% and 3% below initial estimates.
  • Active governance, with process and service indicators used for early decision-making.
  • Clear, consistent, and widely embedded methodologies, facilitating the onboarding of new professionals.
  • A collaborative, resilient, and highly committed working environment.
  • A structured training system, supported by corporate platforms.
  • High responsiveness to critical incidents, including cybersecurity scenarios.

According to the appraisal team and the contract managers, the renewal of CMMI Level 5 with no weaknesses identified evidences the maturity achieved by Ayesa’s service model and the sustained commitment of its teams to operational excellence. This achievement also coincides with an additional recognition of major relevance: Ayesa has been ranked as the No. 1 company in the IT sector in Spain, according to the latest industry study, further reinforcing its leadership and market reputation.
