The section under the direction of work carried out involves a total length of 8,500 m and presents mainly a trapezoidal section with a coating of 15 cm of concrete supported on a layer of 100 cm of impermeable material of silt-clay nature from its own work. For proper functioning the infrastructure offers a series of unique works: a work of regulation, a safety overflow, several cross drainage works and longitudinal, overpasses in the intersections with existing roads and adapted crossing fauna.
In the construction phase there have been used advanced technical and control solutions in earthmoving and auscultation of the embankments of greater height. The construction procedure “Horpend method"used in the implementation of the concrete lining has facilitated the progress of works and improved the quality of completed infrastructure.
For its typology, the implementation of this infrastructure has required overcoming important goals from the point of view of improving the initial layout and the design of unique works made in the monitoring of its implementation with the use of specific construction methods.
