Status: Work in progress
Railway Auscultation is the process thorough infrastructure defects are detected, tracked and analyzed and its level of importance, to determine the corresponding preventive or corrective actions of maintenance with the objective of maintaining and enhancing the quality, reliability and infrastructure security.
As far as possible, auscultations are carried out up to the highest speed limits, usually 10% more than the maximum permitted. In addition to these measurements, other parameters are evaluated such displacements and transverse rotations box-bogie, which provide information on the correct path of curves and straight lines. The values of acceleration and comfort are also analyzed in order to evaluate the overall situation of the line
The project includes the provision, installation and smooth running of all IT systems for auscultation equipment, communications and Data visualization in the auscultator train Seneca and all the systems that support the management and analysis duties performed in the Adif Installations (Laboratory of Auscultation).
All this requires the development of a communications system and data visualization that enables the integration of all train auscultation equipment and IT systems for the handling of the data acquired.
